William Gillette letters, 1927.

Three letters typed and signed by Hartford, Connecticut, native and well known actor, William Gillette. The correspondence was with William H. Briggs of Harper & Brother publishers. At the time Gillette was writing, Harper & Brothers was in the process of publishing Gillette's novel, "The Astounding Crime on Torrington Road." The letters all contain corrections and additional markings by Gillette.
